Features           These are some of the many features of The Short Film Project Drop In Centre - A comfortable drop in centre for members to meet, plan projects and view rushes. The centre has a lounge with refreshments for members to chill while brainstorming. Audition Room - Members in pre production can book our audition room session. (Special rates for members) Screening Room - A screening theatre on our premisis for member film makers to screen their works. Short films will be screened to members on a 12' x 8' big screen. ..This feature is available at a small charge for members.. Editing Rooms - Editors can edit the short films in our in house edit suites with basic edit programs. Short Film Library - We are currently building up a library of short films of all genres for members to view in the centre. All free of charge. Library of Film Making Books - A library of industry books from : Directing, Film making, Producing, Acting, Editing, Short Film Making. These books are available for members to read inside the Drop In centre when hanging around. (Coming Soon) Instructional Movie Nights - Screenings of "How To" industry videos on making films, Acting, Directing and other aspects of learning about independant film making. These screenings are free to members. Festival - An annual film festival to showcase the works of the Toronto Short Film Project members to be held at The Bloor Cinema. Awards Night - A glitzy awards show where the member film makers and actors are honoured for outstanding work and creativity. Seminars - Informative Seminars are held for members ranging from basic techniques to visual effects to performances for actors. See the seminars page. Green Screen Studio - Members who need to do some visual effects and require a green screen studio can book our room for a small fee per hour. Social and Shmooze Parties - Weekly get togethers for networking and shmoozing as well as special social events like BBQ's and weekend ski trips See Socials page. DVD Burning - Film makers, editors actors and other members who need DVD's burned can take advantage of our low cost DVD service. Websites - film makers and actors may want to build their own personal web site to promote themselves to the production world. We can help design profile websites and provide hosting for members at very low cost. Complete with photos, and online video reels. Photo Gallery - Producton stills are very important to document the film project, both for seeing the progression and using the stills as publicity promotion afterwards. Film makers can send in their production stills for the online photo gallery.
