Short Film Projects

Short films will be produced in two different methods.

First, by members who have an idea of what they want to do and network with other members, from tech people, writers and the actors to help them produce their short film project. People can pitch concepts, ideas and scripts to the membership at the regular meetings and other members can shoose to work on that particular project. People who work well together can choose to work with each other when they find that perfect chemistry.

House League Projects - This is where we differ from other film makers communities. In the House League projects, members make themselves available to participate on a crew. Crews are formed by members netwroking with their certain talents and skills. Crews will be made members who are ready to write, create, shoot, act and edit a shor film.
Then the crews will get together to colaborate, create, write and produce a short film. This house league crew selection is an ongoing process and takes place as members become available to participate. This is the ultimate way of gaining much experience and networking with many like minded people.

Note: The house league production process is to gain experience so all who choose to, will participate in the projects. This means that actors do not have to audition for the roles. The scripts are written to include the actors that are part of that particular crew.

Revenue From The Sale of Shorts

The revenue generated from short films which are sold to local and international markets, shall be shared as follows.
80% of the money will be shared equally by all those who participated in producing the sold short film.
20% of the revenue goes back into the Short Film Project to pay for more facilities like editing systems, software, studio upgrades and expanding the short film video library.
